Paul Cozighian and Cocor MediaChannel retrace the historical moments of 1989 Revolution

After 20 years, Paul Cozighian returns home and presents premiere sequences shot on December 21, 1989.

 As a sign of solidarity with the martyrs of the Revolution, the director will rebuild the barricade and calls all citizens to participate to this meeting. The event will take place on December 21, 2009, in Bucharest, near the Intercontinental Hotel, where 20 years ago protesters lifted a barricade against the dictatorship. Although Paul lives in Paris, he made a short film about 1989 Revolution’s events for French television, which will be made public on December 21.

The 30 minutes film will run in front of National Theatre, at Bucharest’s 0 kilometer and will present sequences of the filming made by Paul when he was a student.
This is how the organizer and the director Paul Cozighian wishes to inform young people and remind those who lived the Revolution of the sacrifice made by 49 people who were killed.

The event also includes the projection of „2112” movie at the Student House of Culture in Bucharest. It presents sequences of the barricade which took place at Dalles Hall on 21st of December and after the projection will run, the audience is invited to discuss with the director.
